Inbal studied classic animation at Bezalel Academy for Arts and Design, Jerusalem, and worked as an animator and commercial illustrator for about ten years. Some of her animated short films have been shown at animation festivals such as Annecy (2001 & 2003), SAFO, AnimaMundi, and HAFF. She has also illustrated several children's books and other projects. In 2018, Inbal graduated with an MA in children's books illustration at Cambridge School of Art in the UK.
