Paweł Pawlak was born in Wroclaw, Poland. He has illustrated more than 30 books for children and young people. Paweł has won awards from the Art for Children Biennial in Poznan, Poland, 1991, and the Prix International Biennal opur Illustrateurs de Livres d'Enfants, Hasselt, Belgium, 1998. He lives and works in Wroclaw.
