Taunya English is a volunteer naturalist who loves sloshing through wetlands. On her nature adventures, sometimes she’s the leader. Lots of times she’s the learner. Before becoming a picture-book author, Taunya honed her story telling craft as a radio reporter, a career that teaches you to write for the ear. From the plink plink of rain to the ack ack of wood frogs, sound is her favorite nature souvenir. Taunya lives outside of Washington, DC.
